    About:
    We found use for this product on any rubber items that have gotten stiff and hard over time but need to be soft for proper use. Being in the Powersports Industry, we primarily have used it on Motorcycle, ATV, & UTV parts with great success. Please read below to see Customer Reviews and the many other rubber items that this product has worked with. We regularly use Rubber Soft on Bushings & Grommets, Carburetor & Air Intake Boots, Footpeg & Hand Grips, Fork Suspension Dust Covers, as well as Formed Rubber Vacuum, Fuel, and Oil Hoses. Shown in the later pictures is an Intake Manifold Boot from a Vintage Honda 3-Wheeler. It was ROCK hard and unusable as are most nowadays. We soaked it in Rubber Soft for about 48 hrs, and you can see how pliable it is. It truly takes the rubber back to its how it should be.

    “I have to say the first wheel has softened up to the point where I can stick my fingernail into the edge and see a movement of the rubber. Previously it was like hard plastic. I’m listening to the turntable now and it sounds great – good grip means no slippage and wow – wow or slow downs in the record change. I’m soaking my second wheel now.”

    “Items Softened-These are gaskets that go on the back of Exhibition and No. 2 Victor Reproducers. Most of them are 100+ years older and hard as a rock. Buying a new one is about $15 so if I can soften and recondition the originals it makes a rebuild less expensive. I had a few lying around so I tested how long to leave them in the solution for. 6-8 hours seems to be about right as any longer makes them too soft and they fall apart.”
    How To Use:
    Simply put the rubber item into an alcohol resistant container and fully submerge it in Rubber Soft. Make sure the container is sealed as this product will slightly evaporate over time. Check rubber item every 6-12 hrs until it is the desired softness. Then just Remove, Use, and Enjoy! For best results we recommend washing the rubber item before softening. Please note that it will soften, but it will not repair cracked or damaged rubber.
