These are the 5man 25mm movement trays I have been printing out to use with my horde armies for myself and for the guys here in my gaming group.
I got frustrated taking my models out of their foam storage, and placing them on to movement trays, So I designed these movement trays to be thin enough that a 1/8 x 1/16 neodymium magnet on the bottom of a models base Would stick through the plastic and onto the metal plate for magnetic storage. Now I can just directly grab a blocks of 5 out of their Storage, and go directly to deployment.
The lip of the movement tray is also extremely thin, which for the most part allows me to pile in to close combat and fight in two ranks with my 25 mm bases Without removing the models from their movement tray.
I cannot tell you how How much these things speed up my game play with horde armies. They allowed me to stop worrying about how much time it was going to take to deploy and move and focus on the game play. And with blocks of five it is easy enough to take it advantage of the footprint and spread my models out as well to deny deep strike or just for board control.
The trays themselves self are plastic and non-magnetic, So if you do need to move the models off of them, there is no resistance. Make sure and check out the YouTube video as a picture is worth 1000 words.
